Magahau merupakan perayaan tradisional yang disambut secara meriah dan besar-besaran oleh komuniti Rungus di daerah Kudat, Sabah. Istilah magahau membawa pengertian sebagai berpesta, mengadakan keramaian atau kenduri. Kehidupan seharian etnik dahulu terikat dengan amalan kepercayaan tradisi, adat istiadat pantang larang telah diwarisi. Dengan demikian, hanya akan dijalankan setelah semua upacara ritual selesai dilakukan. Etnik mempercayai bahawa penyertaan dalam adalah penting bagi tujuan keselamatan perlindungan mereka daripada gangguan kuasa ghaib. Bagaimanapun, tidak lagi meneruskan ini bersesuaian perubahan kehidupan semasa Rungus. Menerusi kajian etnografi, menganalisis sistem tradisi melalui persembahan magahau. Hasil pemerhatian analisis mendapati transisi mengubah konsep dari ke pesta keramaian. Kajian seumpama usaha memelihara warisan untuk rujukan generasi datang.

Through ethnographic studies, study analyzed system practices ethnic traditions through performances. results observations analysis found transition has changed concept magahau, parties. Such studies are as measure preserve heritage future generations reference.
